杜博林公司是魯克.杜博樂和迪克.林于1945年成立的．公司名稱由他們兩人的名字共同組成．
杜博林公司不是原設(shè)計旋轉(zhuǎn)器的公司，他是*進(jìn)入市場以平衡式機(jī)械密封設(shè)計于其產(chǎn)品上．在這期間，zui流行的機(jī)械密封產(chǎn)品是壓縮型密封器，他是依靠兩個壓縮的密封面保持密封．
隨著各種設(shè)備速度的提高，壓縮式密封的設(shè)計有明顯的磨損。魯克以*機(jī)械密封安裝在旋接器內(nèi)。這個設(shè)計馬上被市場接受，杜博林公司開始擴(kuò)大．zui早使用魯克設(shè)計的旋接器，除了印刷行產(chǎn)業(yè)還有：

杜博林．像所有經(jīng)歷過第二次世界大戰(zhàn)后的制造工廠一樣，在50,60年代穩(wěn)定成長.使魯克區(qū)別于同一時代大多企業(yè)家不同的一點是他的預(yù)見思路和溝通力。這些素質(zhì)使得杜博林從60年代后期，從他的競爭者及美國制造業(yè)中脫穎而出。之后魯克決定到海外拓展市場。令人難以置信的是他在60年代后期選擇去日本訪問。
